Unfortunately, the article fails to capture the full complexity behind the movement, as expounded in my earlier expose HK protests – Young aspirations for a Hong Kong dream. Nor does it throw light on some of the dynamics on a possible way forward.

I must also beg to clarify the rather misleading reference to my status as "an international consultant including for firms contemplating to break into China and HK". A more careful perusal of my website will reveal that I am more independent than this reference may suggest.
