Following is my PowerPoint accepted for presentation at the Cambridge Central Asia Forum – Beyond Globalization: Prospects for Eurasia. The Forum was organized by the Institute of New Industrial Development, Saint Petersburg, Russia, in cooperation with the Centre of Development Studies, Cambridge University, which took place on 12 May, 2017. Due to a last-minute emergency, I was unable to attend.
