(b) Pork or chicken prices rise 100%;

(c) Local protests intensify and succeed more often;

(d) China spends more on infrastructure;

(e) Online competition bankrupts a major main-street retailer;

(f) Even the middle-classes hedge their bets;

(g) European soccer teams invest in the Chinese Super League;

(h) Investment in overseas agriculutre isthe ""next big thing"

(i) A third-tier city goes bankrupt

(j) National holiday weeks are abolished
