Greetings!
The muddled contest for shaping the World Order is accelerating. In face of a seemingly endless proxy war of attrition in Ukraine and quickening 2024 U.S. election challenges, President Biden is walking a tightrope balancing a no-holds-barred China-containment campaign with America's best economic interests.
Meanwhile, the "Global South" tectonic plates are shifting, typified by recent Arab Peninsula rapprochements brokered by China and droves of developing nations wanting to join the BRICS group. However, grappling with multiple headwinds both domestic and international, China is not yet out of the woods, notwithstanding signs of resilience belying much of anti-China doomsday rhetoric.
Hopefully, the following may throw up some useful perspectives in navigating through an increasingly complex and treacherous world!
